Certificate of Status: A certificate indicating status in a state where an entity is incorporated or qualified. This is often called a certificate of existence or good standing certificate.
Franchise Tax Status: A certificate issued by the state tax department showing the status of an entity that is incorporated or qualified in that state.
Listing Certificate: Certificate listing charter documents that have been filed for an entity. Some states (not California) include status with this certificate and call it a long form good standing.
Name Availability: The process of checking for availability of an entity name with the Secretary of State or equivalent.
Name Reservation: The reservation of an entity name with the Secretary of State or equivalent.
Specific Document Retrieval: The retrieval of plain or certified copies of a specific document.
